Exercise For The Health Benefits
Everybody should exercise for the health benefits – there is no doubt about it- exercise is good for you. When it comes to exercise, it’s easy to fall victim to the “should” phenomenon.
As in, we should do an exercise because it’s supposed to be the most effective for weight loss. Or exercise should be difficult or perhaps we’re not doing it right. That kind of thinking can prevent us starting or sticking to an exercise program. And it shouldn’t.
In reality, the consistency is more important than the intensity of an exercise. Some health professionals recommend 60 minutes of physical activity most days of the week. But most people can not do that. They usually start with 20 minutes or more at least 3 times per week.
The 20 minutes is best if it is done all at one time, so that it makes your heart beat a little faster, makes you sweat a little bit, and it makes you breathe a little harder!
At least 20 minutes all at one time, 3-4 times per week. And,
* Your heart beats faster
* You sweat a little
* You breathe harder than usual
* It’s fun!
Once you begin enjoying the exercise, you’ll likely be more willing to increase the amount. As far as which exercise to choose, runners will tell you running is the best way to get in shape. Cyclists will tell you it’s riding a bike, and so on. Who’s right?
Most experts agree: The best exercise is the one you’ll do.
“The key is just to find something that you like,” says certified fitness trainer Shannon Sutton. “Cycling or racquetball or swimming, it’s all calorie expenditure.
Choose any exercise you like to do! The most important thing is that you like it and you will do it!
hiking
farming
bicycling
swimming
gardening
volleyball
basketball
jumping rope
“aerobics”classes
running or jogging
all kinds of dancing
walking for exercise
If you hate exercise, stop doing it! I don’t think any other health and fitness person will tell you that. I think that it’s okay to stop doing whatever it is you hate.
The only thing I ask is that you try something different. I don’t care what it is, but try something else and stick with it for a month or two until you know whether you like it or hate it.
While your chosen form of exercise should be pleasurable, it should also be practical. If you love to swim but the nearest pool is across town, how often will you go there? You’re trying to find the happy medium of both. Another trick to sticking with it: Mix up your workouts to prevent boredom .
“Find something that you like and you’re more likely to stick with it,” Sutton says. Exercise for your health benefits.

This diet appears to be a form of calorie shifting.

Isn’t the EODD a calorie shifting diet?

I have heard that there is no calorie counting on the EODD. Is this true?
