The One-Stop Beauty Shop
You can easily make the one-stop beauty shop in the kitchen of your home. I bet you have in your kitchen right now the ingredients to make several homemade facials.
Homemade recipes for facials have been popular for ages. Beauty recipes were used by women in Ancient Egypt and Greece.
Most women swear by fruit facials. Some do it to look younger, while others just like the way their skin feels when they’re done. Fruit facials work great when you choose a fruit that is right for your skin type. And, thanks to the power of the web, finding that out is not difficult. And,
So, find a fruit facial recipe that works for you, and pamper your skin from time to time. Both you and your skin deserve to look healthy and beautiful!
Here are some of my favorites:
Go Bananas
Bananas contain vitamins A, B, C, and E as well as potassium. They smooth and nourish your skin while the antioxidants purify it. Avocados offer your skin the antioxidant effects of Vitamin E. The proteins and fats in the fruit draws moisture into your skin and helps fill up the fine lines & wrinkles.
For this recipe you would need: 1 banana and 1 avocado.
Using a blender, make a puree of the banana and avocado. Apply the mixture to your skin. Leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water, and pat dry. If you have dry skin, follow with a moisturizer.
Here is the second recipe from my home beauty shop:
Sweet Avocado
For this recipe you would need:
2 tablespoons of mashed avocado
2 tablespoons of honey
1 egg yolk
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Apply to your face. Leave it on your skin for 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
Sweet Avocado: Take 2
2 tablespoons of mashed avocado
1 tablespoon of crushed almonds
1/2 teaspoon of honey
Combine all the ingredients until creamy. Apply to your skin, and leave on for 30 minutes or so. Rinse with warm water, then pat dry.
To keep a glow on your face and have the firm skin, use the beauty tip used by Michelle Yeoh.
Splash your face with water containing lemon juice. It is a good toner which maintains the pH balance of your skin and at the same time is inexpensive too.
Catherine Zeta Jones revealed some secret at-home beauty tips to keep her looking young and beautiful in the latest issue of Interview Magazine.
For her lustrous, shiny hair Catherine douses it with some good lager. “I do condition my hair with honey and beer. I smell like the bottom of a beer barrel for days afterwards but it’s very good for the hair.”
Follow in the footsteps of these celebrities. Embrace your natural beauty and create your own one-stop beauty shop at home.
